The Migrant Centre
The Migrant Centre is funded by the Australian Government to provide services and assistance with settlement of newly-arrived migrants and employment.


The Department of Immigration and Citizenship
The Department of Immigration and Border Protection is responsible for immigration and customs border policy. The site provides a range of information about Australian Visas and Australian citizenship.


Multicultural Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing
Harmony Place is a multicultural centre for mental health and wellbeing. It is a non-government community-based organisation providing mental health and wellbeing services specifically for people and communities from diverse cultural and language backgrounds.


Refugee Council of Australia
The Refugee Council of Australia (RCOA) is the national umbrella body for refugees and the organisations and individuals who support them. RCOA’s own work is centred around five key areas: policy, support for refugees, support for its members, community education and administration. 


TIS Translating and Interpreting Service
The Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) is an interpreting service provided by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection for people who do not speak English and for agencies and businesses that need to communicate with their non-English speaking clients.


Multicultural Resource Directory QLD
The Queensland Multicultural Resource Directory (the Directory) is distributed by Multicultural Affairs Queensland (MAQ), Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services. MAQ’s purpose is to provide whole-of-government leadership to improve outcomes for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
